Why we built Noto

Noto was founded by AJ and Steve, who spent years building products at Silicon Valley giants like Google, Meta, Quora, and Lyft. They saw firsthand how thoughtful software can make complex work feel simple.

However, they realized that this caliber of technology rarely reaches the small, often family-run businesses that define our local communities. While these education businesses shape the next generation, they are often held back by outdated tools and manual processes.

AJ and Steve believe these businesses deserve the same standard of software used in big tech. They built Noto as a modern alternative to legacy software, bringing world-class product quality to these businesses so owners can stop wrestling with spreadsheets and focus on their students.
